Logitech Classic Keyboard 200
Mark: Very bad Drivers: IBM OS/2 USB drivers as supplied by IBM and eComStation
USB connection; no PS/2 to USB adapter supplied.
When attached to my eCS2.0RC6a system I noticed that boot time is increased by around 30 seconds - when the boot works. Several instances of the system stopping just after loading USBRESMGR.SYS with no response from the keyboard at that point.
Main problem I found is that having this USB keyboard attached interferes a lot with USB drive attachment: sometimes a drive attaches OK, sometimes the drive is ignored and sometimes the system "freezes" when a drive is attached until the drive is unplugged when the system leaps back into life.
This was my first experience of a USB keyboard and I have no idea if they are all this bad - possibly due to some lack in the IBM OS/2 USB drivers - or whether this keyboard is especially naff when attached as a USB keyboard.
The keyboard itself is very nice to use, positive feel to the keys, and performs well with no interference to USB drive attachment and no 30 second pause during boot if a PS/2 to USB adapter is used.
